FEEDING BEYOND THE MOMENT

LACC has a vision to see no one suffer because they lack the basic essentials required to live. We also want people to experience love whether it’s in word or in deed. Vision without a task is only a dream. A task without a dream is but drudgery, but vision with a task is a dream fulfilled. LACC’s vision is being fulfilled in the earth. We invite you to join us! In August 2019 we had the pleasure of visiting Nairobi Kenya for our first Global Serve and Mission Trip. We had no idea what awaited us. No commercial or local fundraising opportunity could prepare you for what one may actually encounter in person. The kids visited at every orphanage had the joy of someone who didn’t want for anything, yet their reality told a different story. Their gratitude for the presence of a visitor alone compares to one who had the desires of their heart fulfilled.

Above all things the expression of freedom and hope were magnified through humility and grace. It was and still remains special in the purest sense.

While in Kenya we were overwhelmed with so many unmet basic needs. We committed to doing our part in sharing this incredible opportunity to change someone’s life literally forever. In addition to our local efforts, it’s our purpose in life to connect people to opportunities to be difference makers. Personal Hygiene & Sanitary Napkins

Being able to go grab personal hygiene and sanitary products is something we can easily grab at the store, instacart, or order online, For most worn-out undergarments or sanitary products are considered a luxury in comparison to kids born to circumstances where everything they get is based off the kindness of a stranger.

Contributing towards the children’s goal to have enough of these to last a year.

Upcoming Missions Trip

We are headed back to serve in Africa in one of the most beautiful locations in the World.  Last year was our first time back after a two year break due to the global pandemic.  Thanks to Visionare and Leader Reverend Noland Henson and the Kenya With Love Foundation we are excited to return again this time in February 2023. Many of you have expressed interest in support of our upcoming mission to � Kenya.  I am incredibly humbled by your thoughtfulness as well as a fresh opportunity for us to impact the world.  We are most excited that this upcoming mission we get to share with my our children and many who will travel to Africa for the very first time. We embark on this journey to Nairobi Kenya February 7th-15th 2023.  It’s no secret that we love to serve, but this is truly what it means to have your territory enlarged. The first trip to Africa in August 2019 started as a personal goal to serve abroad. Upon return, our hearts had renewed purpose for humanity.  This ignited a deeper passion to serve abroad and from a different angle.  After intimately being involved with Baltimore, Charlotte, Atlanta and Durham over the past ten  years through homeless outreach, local community and civic engagement and spreading LOVE in doses large and small.  This Mission Trip strengthens and widens the message of feeding beyond the moments we currently see in our backyard.  Feeding beyond the moment is an answering God’s call to to go and make disciples of all nations. He has chosen LACC to be a conduit to tangibly demonstrate evidence God is with them always and his unwavering love for them. Our ultimate goal is to Love As Christ Commands which is what we’ve set out to do since conception of the LACC Foundation, 2012. Feeding Beyond the Moment!

We have supported the some of the needs of Amazing Wonders orphanage with the help of friends in the past. The size of the orphanage we support has grown in number since it’s opening 2017. The orphanage Mom, worked in the community with several organizations supporting feeding and rescuing street children. This orphanage was founded off her deep desire to provide the love, education, and consistent support abandoned children longed for. She went from taking in one to four kids in the first year to now having kids constantly knocking at her door. Today, Amazing Wonders houses 57 kids and counting. Our missions trip doesn’t just consist of serving and supporting Amazing Wonders, but she’s a fraction of what we see a need for each time we visit. We long to invite you to participate in supporting what so many take for granted that could literally mean the world to these children. Our support aids in assisting them defeating the odds in being just a name or a statistic. We have the power to help shape an ideal future for one of these kids.
